FROM THE PUBLISHER
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Northern California Abilities Expo, we are very glad to be here. Many of you know Disabled Dealer. Let me tell you what is new. Besides distributing physical copies WE ARE ON LINE with an interactive magazine. Go to http://www.disableddealermagazine.com You can turn the pages, copy the entire magazine, or just one page. Save it, email it or share it. We have down sized the magazine only to offer more on our web site. Check out our resources, they are awesome. Our covers are outstanding. This month’s cover is a special one. First of all it is unique, I would never, in my wildest dream s think that a camel or a bull would be considered a therapy animal But they are, and the Dragon Slayers use them, plus other rare and exotic animals. But the best part is they are from Aptos, California only 26 miles from this San Jose, so they are here at the expo demonstrating with some of their therapy animals. Sorry the bull’s horns did not fit through the door I am sure the Abilities Expo will work on that Accessibility problem for next year.
I would like to thank my daughter-in-law, Lisa Krigsman for bringing this organization to us. Lisa and my son, Matt Rohan lives in Aptos and because of Lisa we discovered Dragon Slayers and the owner/founder, Josef Rivers. Who has been doing this for over 40 years! Please go to page 18 &19 and read this incredible story written by Lisa and Matt.
And while at the expo drop by our Booth #1109, meet Lori Hennings and one her students, and pick up some literature. Tammy from Home Bound Resources will be also on hand passing out free gifts, her husband/artist has brought some of his paintings. Oh and don’t forget your free magazine and yes we will have chocolate!
